A Coombs test, also known as antiglobulin test is either of two blood tests used in immunohematology. They are the direct and indirect Coombs tests.

As Typhidot test is responsible for the analysis of specific antibodies (that is IgM and IgG) separately so the identification of recent infections can be shown by IgM and IgG indicates remote infections. The results of the Typhidot test can be shown as positive and negative only.
